A CALL asks the current field a question without immediately removing everything else. Call a type, move, generation, stat or a specific Pokémon. Matching Pokémon answer inside the larger population. Call again to refine only the responders.
One persistent Pokémon field. CALL makes matching Pokémon answer from where they already are. Call again to refine the responders. FOCUS turns them into the next active field.
Complex filtering emerges from repeated simple actions. The interface stays visual and tap-first while the current scope remains legible.

ALL · 1250. The full field is present before a CALL.
A CALL asks the current field a question without immediately removing everything else. Call a type, move, generation, stat or a specific Pokémon. Matching Pokémon answer inside the larger population. Call again to refine only the responders.
FOCUS turns the current responders into the next field. Non-responders recede. The responders move forward and rescale. That focused group becomes the scope for the next CALL, and previous scopes remain navigable.
The answer is expressed as presence inside the population, not as a detached results page. Pokémon sprites remain field objects while properties such as types, moves, generations and stats can be called against them.
Earlier PokéField builds emphasized immediate omission, reflow and rescaling after a query. The current build separates those ideas into two clearer actions: CALL preserves visual context; FOCUS changes the active scope.

The August 30 first-mover wording applied to the earlier immediate TRUE OMIT → REFLOW → RESCALE grammar. The current CALL / FOCUS version is materially different, so this exhibit preserves the older audit as historical provenance but does not automatically transfer its exact priority claim to the new interaction.
The familiar Pokédex answers questions by taking you somewhere else: a page, list, card or search result. PokéField explores a different model: keep the population visible and let the question change what becomes present inside it.
