## Current interaction grammar

The current public PokéField build is defined by:

1. one persistent visible Pokémon field;
2. **CALL** asking the current field a question without immediately removing the non-responders;
3. matching Pokémon answering in place while the larger field remains visible as context;
4. repeated CALLs applying only to the current responders;
5. **FOCUS** promoting those responders into the next active field;
6. non-responders receding when FOCUS is applied;
7. responders moving forward and rescaling inside the focused field;
8. recursive scope: CALL and FOCUS can continue from the newly focused field;
9. navigation back through previous scopes;
10. Pokémon remaining visible objects rather than becoming rows in a separate results page.

The concise grammar is:

**CHOOSE → CALL → CALL → FOCUS → CALL → FOCUS**

## Important historical correction

The Made From Chat / GitHub prior-art wording dated August 30, 2026 described an earlier PokéField interaction grammar based on immediate TRUE OMIT → REFLOW → RESCALE and current-projection chaining.

That earlier audit should **not** automatically be treated as proof of a first-mover claim for the newer CALL / FOCUS grammar.

The current product has materially changed. The previous audit remains useful as historical provenance for the project lineage, but the present CALL / FOCUS interaction should receive a fresh prior-art search before an exact historical-priority claim is published for this new grammar.

## What remains safe to say now

- PokéField is a playable visual Pokédex built as one persistent Pokémon field.
- CALL identifies responders inside the current field.
- Repeated CALLs refine the current responders.
- FOCUS promotes responders into the next active field.
- The answer appears inside the Pokémon population rather than requiring a separate conventional results page.
- Earlier field-reflow prototypes are part of the documented lineage.
